FVG supported the development of a compact IoT device built to monitor poultry farm environments while withstanding moisture, dust, and fluctuating outdoor conditions. The unit required IPX65 compliance, leak-proof sealing, and mechanical robustness for reliable field use.

Manufacturing Process:

  • Mechanical Support: Assisted with housing, sealing, and structural development.

  • Sealing and Protection: Designed and validated custom rubber seals to achieve IPX65 compliance.

  • Testing and Validation: Provided environmental and leak-proof testing across EVT and DVT stages.

  • Pilot Build: Supported a >1,000 unit PVT build to enable scalable deployment.

The collaboration delivered a rugged, sealed IoT sensor successfully deployed in poultry farm environments. With IPX65 validation and proven durability, the device was ready for scalable use, demonstrating FVG’s expertise in supporting IoT product development for agriculture applications.
