      • Design for Testability (DFT)

        DFT evaluates and enhances a design’s testability coverage, ensuring that built-in diagnostics and validation checkpoints are in place for efficient and accurate testing.

      • Debug & Troubleshooting

        Our debug and troubleshooting processes are powered by diagnostic tools such as TK1P, allowing for precise defect localisation.

      • Automated Optical Inspection

        Automated optical inspection instantly identifies placement errors and defects with precision and speed.

      • A3070 ICT Coverage

        A3070 ICT combines fast, precise in-circuit testing, boundary scan capabilities and functional testing with programmable test points for efficient fault detection and validation.

      • System Level Test

        Through DFT-driven design, we develop test systems that deliver maximum coverage and meet customer-defined specifications.

      • X-Ray Inspection

        X-ray inspection assesses solder joint quality in key interconnect areas, including barrel fill verification for through-hole components and void or misalignment detection in BGA solder joints.

      • Onboard/Offline Programming

        Supporting onboard and offline programming for a wide range of devices, enabling firmware loading at various stages of the manufacturing process.

      • MAC Address Management

        Our MES-driven system manages MAC address allocation with strict process controls, preventing duplication or omissions and ensuring full traceability across the production cycle.

      Case Study: Smart Agriculture Sensor

      FVG supported the development of a compact IoT device built to monitor poultry farm environments while withstanding moisture, dust, and fluctuating outdoor conditions. The unit required IPX65 compliance, leak-proof sealing, and mechanical robustness for reliable field use.

      Manufacturing Process:

      • Mechanical Support: Assisted with housing, sealing, and structural development.

      • Sealing and Protection: Designed and validated custom rubber seals to achieve IPX65 compliance.

      • Testing and Validation: Provided environmental and leak-proof testing across EVT and DVT stages.

      • Pilot Build: Supported a >1,000 unit PVT build to enable scalable deployment.

      The collaboration delivered a rugged, sealed IoT sensor successfully deployed in poultry farm environments. With IPX65 validation and proven durability, the device was ready for scalable use, demonstrating FVG’s expertise in supporting IoT product development for agriculture applications.
